BIOGRAPHY
My journey into massage therapy began after more than a decade working as a sound designer and audio engineer in immersive and musical theater. I love creating meaningful experiences through sound, but I found myself increasingly burnt out from overwork, overuse, and overstimulation. That path led me to pursue massage therapy and establish Spacehold Massage Therapy, where I help clients move with less pain, greater freedom, and a deeper connection to their bodies. Where I help people find space.
I received my massage therapy education at Pacific College of Health and Science in New York City, where I developed a strong foundation in anatomy, orthopedic assessment, sports massage, Swedish massage, Thai massage, and both evidence and trauma-informed therapeutic techniques. Upon licensure, I have been employed and mentored by Roundhead Wellness and Melt Massage and Bodywork, whose emphasis on individualized treatment, queer values, and expert technique shapes my practice.
Outside the treatment room, I spend much of my life exploring the same principles and hobbies I share with my clients. I am an avid weightlifter, runner, and long-distance walker, and I practice yoga, meditation, breathwork, and other ceremonial exploration. These spaces continually remind me that strength, mobility, recovery, and mindfulness are synergistic pursuits that support one another and contribute to a healthier relationship with the self and with others.
I am an animal lover, friendship lover, and a love lover. I am proud of the community I've built, the trans and queer life I've grown, and the business I've gardened.
At the heart of both my work and my personal life is a commitment to living non-urgently. Whether I am training, walking, meditating, socializing, or working with clients, I see these practices as part of the same lifelong pursuit, creating space for presence, resilience, and a more sustainable way of living.
